On April 6, 2026, the exhibition “India: Three Perspectives” opened at the historic Ilya Glazunov Art Gallery. The event was inaugurated by H. E. Vinay Kumar, Ambassador of India to the Russian Federation, who highlighted the important role of art in strengthening the ever-deepening ties between the peoples of India and Russia.
Elena Zhelnova, Head of the Exhibition Department at the gallery, expressed her hope for continued collaboration in the future. Elizaveta Stupanskaya, Deputy Secretary General of the Russian Association for International Cooperation and Responsible Secretary of the Friendship Society with India, delivered a greeting message on behalf of the Association’s and Society’s leadership.
The exhibition features works by three artists — Shanti Kushwaha, Konstantin Poliakov, and Larisa Prasolova — all inspired by India.
It will be open from April 7 to 16, 2026, in the Attic Hall of the gallery (13 Volkhonka St., near Kropotkinskaya metro station).
